Wingshooting in Argentina is an activity that must be experienced rather than explained. It takes place in the central region. Argentina is a very big country with few inhabitants, which provides a great varety of scenarios that allow us to offer a number of wingshooting species in the different areas.
The season is open all year without bag limits for dove, it goes from March to October for pigeon, and run from May to August for partridge, duck and goose.

Cordoba, situated in the core of the Argentine Republic, is considered to be one of the best places worldwide for hunting doves. It is an area full of hills and rivers, surrounded by agricultural land. These two elements are the facts that permit an excellent location for bird reproduction. It is estimated that in an appropriate spot or intersection of a good feeding area and a resting zone, over 1,000,000 (a million) doves go through it in just one hour.
Therefore, doves are considered to be plague in the area and there are no bag limits or seasons for hunting them. Hunters regularly use two guns and a reloader to prevent barrel overheating, as they may go through 1,000 (a thousand) rounds in a morning.
To secure the best quality of hunt, JJ Caceria has 20,000 acres to develop its operations, where the most important and biggest root in the region is located. This roost has a population of around 20,000,000 of doves.
Pigeon Hunting Package
Currently, the blue pigeon population in Cordoba is very big. Only 150Km from Cordoba airport, there is one of the country’s biggest concentrations of these type of birds. Our fields are specially taken care of to guarantee 250 blue pigeons per day per hunter. This limit is imposed by JJ Cacería in its own fields so that you, as well as other hunters coming every year, can enjoy the same hunting quality.
There are two types of shots, according to the hunter’s preferences. One, in peanut or corn-sown fields, using decoys from a blind; the other, in natural spots, for more demanding hunters who prefer long precise shots.

Duck Hunting
The environment of the duck hunting makes it one of the most exciting hunting of its kind. It is well-known that Argentina is one of the most exquisite places for small game, particularly, for water-bird hunting, such as ducks. This kind of hunting is carried out in the province of Corrientes.
Ducks are expected in blinds made of natural vegetation from the area, in or outside the water, which gives the hunting a natural frame that is beyond comparison. Ducks are attracted using decoys and whistles.
Besides, a week before the hunting starts, the lakes are baited with sorghum and corn, since, in Argentina, it is allowed to attract ducks with food. In this way, we achieve a successful season (from May to August). Normally, the duck hunting is performed in the morning while partridge hunting is performed in the afternoon. Whereas the daily permitted limit is of 40 ducks per morning.

 BIG GAME HUNTING 
Argentina is fast becoming one of the premium hunting destinations in the world.
Its wide variety of game animals, enormous expanses of inhabited areas, combined with a surprisingly low cost, makes it a favorite of sportsmen from Europe as well as the United States.
Game animals like Red Stag, Axis and Fallow Deer, Blackbuck Antelope and European wild boar, roam free and grow to amazing trophy size.
Red stag hunting
There are two ways of hunting red stag in Argentina that depend mostly on the geography (the place and surface you are hunting at)
1. Mountain hunting: All season long walking or on horseback, the hunter glasses the valleys and ridges until he locates his prey. Shots are usually from 100 to 300 meters. This is a dynamic and visual hunt.
2. Bush hunting: Takes place during the rutting season, from March 15th to April 15th . The prey is located by the sound of its roar (much like on all bugles) and carefully stalked until seen. Shots seldom exceed 100 meters. This type of hunting requires the use of the five senses plus a sixth one: the sense of the hunter.
Axis and Fallow Deer hunting
You will stalk your prey. In open or semi open country. The shots are usually medium to long range and it is not necessary to hunt during the rutting season.
European Wild Boar hunting
Hunters must sit a stand near watering places and always under the light of a full moon.
Antelope hunting
May be hunted from vehicles or on foot. Shots range from 150 meters to much farther. The hunter may also choose to hunt from a stand where the shots are much closer.
Buffalo hunting
Water buffalo are the biggest animals hunted in Argentina. They are found in their natural habitat, in or near the swamps. The whole year is very good. We hunt buffalo on a horseback riding or on foot. Shots are short distance.
