Wingshooting

UPLAND BIRD
Classic southern hunting, shooting at pointed birds over dogs. Quail and Chukar are the favorites and flush in singles with occasional covey rises. A diverse hunt covering lots of habitat types. One to three persons, full service or self-guided.

DRIVEN PHEASANT
Comparable to any plains hunt due to the large amount of acreage available at Beaver Pond. This involves groups flushing ring-necks from field cover with retrievers. A great option for families and small corporate teams. Challenging and exciting for any sportsman. Guided only.

EUROPEAN
 TOWER SHOOT
This is a semi-stationary hunt involving 10 or more shooters rotating around a 40 foot tower. Birds are released from the tower and reach maximum wing speed by the time they are overhead. Good fun for all ages and abilities. On regular intervals, shooters rotate to allow each shooter to shoot from every station during the hunt.

MONTHLY PHEASANT TOWER SHOOT
We offer a regularly scheduled pheasant tower shoot on the 1st Saturday of each month in November-March.

Cost is $275.00/ person.
The hunt provides 10 pheasants per person.

We must have a minimum of 10 people for the hunt and can accomodate up to a maximum of 24. Individuals may sign-up onsite at the office in shooter roost or email us.

Group checks must be received 24 hours before hunt in advance for participation.

We can schedule a tower shoot for church and civic groups as a fellowship and fund raising tool. We’ll furnish the hunt and you can furnish the shooters, food and cleanup. It’s a great way for youth and men’s church groups to raise money for a special project and have a great fun event at the same time.

This is classic southern bird hunting, shooting at pointed birds over dogs. Suspense grips you as you cautiously step in front of that quivering nose.  Much like hunting a busted covey for singles.  Opportunities for doubles are common, but only realized by a handful of shooters.  Quail and Chukar are the favorites and flush in singles with occasional covey rises. A diverse hunt covering lots of habitat types. One to three persons, full service or self-guided.
